dc.description.abstract | The internship at Sensient Technologies Indonesia, a global leader in specialty ingredients, provided hands-on experience in the Research and Development (R&D) division, focusing on sample preparation and application trials of Sensient’s colors and flavors for food, beverage, and pharmaceutical products. Key responsibilities included addressing challenges in premix ice cream bases, such as their lack of visual appeal and undesirable flavor due to the addition of collagen. By incorporating MicrofineTM and water-soluble natural colorants along with Sensient’s flavors, the projects successfully enhanced sensory attributes, demonstrating the effectiveness of these technologies in real-world applications. The student’s contributions and impact in the workplace were supported by preparation at i3L through academic classes and BRIGHT sessions, effectively bridging theoretical knowledge with industry practices and emphasizing innovation and quality in product development. | en_US |
