Herbal or traditional medicine has been widely used in society including Calophyllum inophyllum as it is known for its various pharmacological activity in treating numerous diseases. Therefore, this study aimed to determine the compounds contained in the ethanolic extract of C. inophyllum seeds. The C. inophyllum seeds were ground and macerated using absolute ethanol as the solvent assisted with some agitation. The concentrated extract was then analyzed using phytochemical screenings, and total phenolic content and total flavonoid content assays. The results showed that the extract contains alkaloids, tannins, quinones, steroids, and terpenoids; and has TPC and TFC values of 12.0103 mgQE/g and 0.2431 mgGAE/g dried extract, respectively. Further study might be needed to elucidate the actual phytochemical constituents contained in the C. inophyllum ethanolic seeds extract.lation for wound dressing.en_US
