Abstract: | Drug-Drug interactions is interaction between the drug with another drug that could cause adverse effect to our body, this interaction still occur mostly in hospital due to the low database to check this interaction, the purpose of this internship is to develop a robust drug database to help the Lira Medika hospital in create safe prescription to the patient. In this internship, the work that has been completed were validation of drug product name and its content; and also developing unique code for drug product from Lira Medika Hospital database. The individual project is an occurrence analysis on selected drug products from following categories: Cardiovascular system drugs, Endocrine system drugs, Hormones, Contraceptive, Drugs affecting GI tract, Drugs affecting nervous system, Drugs affecting respiratory tract, Blood product, Drugs affecting blood & hemodynamic. This internship discussed comparison of the development drug code with the existence system from official databases such as BPOM and NDC, and also discussed why certain drugs from the individual project have higher amounts or less amount. |
