Sacha Inchi is a plant which is best known for its medicinal properties and a food source. However the husk and the shell usually ended up as waste. As a result, this research aims to valorize the Sacha Inchi Waste as feed to grow Black Soldier Fly Larvae. In this experiment, 100 Black Soldier Fly Larvae were hatched in a container and after 5 days, feed made of press cake waste of Sacha Inchi along with a control of which chicken feed was given as a feeding substrate. The 8 day old larvae will have their size and weight measured. After 10 days, the analysis of the growth performance and waste reduction performance was done. The result shows the control having the greatest growth performance and waste reduction performance while the lowest was recorded in 50 g of Sacha Inchi waste. The results of growth and waste reduction performance also showed a low value compared to previous literature. Overall, based on this study, it shows that BSFL is not a recommended method in order to valorize Sacha Inchi waste.en_US
