Abstract: | Colorectal cancer is the third place cause of death tumor globally. And its frequent prevalence may be caused by the conventional treatments that has been applied. One of the conventional or commonly used treatments are chemotherapy, one of colorectal cancer common chemotherapy are oxaliplatin. This would create drug-resistant cancer. For this effort in counteracting the resistant caused by the cancer, natural products like quercetin and astragaloside IV was chosen. In this research, the methodology used is cell viability assay by MTT towards HCT116 and Oxaliplatin-resistant HCT116 (OXARHCT116), compusyn which is a software to determine the synergistic effect for the drug combinations, and apoptosis analysis using flow cytometry, as well as in silico to elucidate the mechanism between oxaliplatin-treated and oxaliplatin-resistant cancer cell line. It turns out quercetin and levan induce an adequate synergistic despite being cytotoxic in normal untreated cell line, but not as much in terms of OXARHCT116. |
