This internship report titled “WEB-BASED VISUALIZATION TOOLS FOR FRAMESHIFT DETECTION IN SARS-COV 2 SEQUENCING AT GENOMICS HUB COMPANY (GSI LAB)” covers the author ’s internship experiences and tasks to develop a web-based tool. Based on the natural behavior of viruses and/or diseases that always mutate, it is possible for the coronavirus to mutate and produce new variant types which might be a new challenge for the healthcare professionals circulating the COVID-19 cases. The internship mainly focuses on the development of the continuation step of the SOP from the Genomics HUB company which is to construct a web-based visualization tool for detecting the frameshift mutation that might happen in the Variant Calling File (VCF) from the WF-Artic pipeline SARS-COV 2 sequencing result. The results show that the tool is capable of detecting the frameshift mutation including its position, barcode number, and the type of mutation from the VCF file of the SARS-COV 2 sequencing. This project was done using Python programming language and HTML for the whole website construction and JavaScript for table filtering. The author managed to complete the task needed within the time period of the internship.en_US
